According to a new report, Netflix is hoping to begin filming the fourth season of Emily in Paris in early 2024.
The series, starring Lily Collins as the titular Emily Cooper, was picked up by the streaming platform for two new seasons back in January 2022. That included the third season, which arrived late last year.
Filming for the fourth season was expected to begin in the late summer of this year but was delayed by the writer’s strike. The strike has come to an end with a new deal between the writer’s guild and studios.
With hopes for the SAG-AFTRA strike to end in the near future, Netflix is reportedly gearing up to commence filming early in the new year. They’re hoping to move quickly as there is only a short window before another issue would delay the project yet again.

According to Variety, Emily in Paris will hopefully enter production in January with the hope of finishing before Paris shuts down filming ahead of the Olympic Games in the summer.
The outlet noted that studios will not be able to film in certain places throughout the city as early as March. The entire city will be locked down between June and September.
