Emily Andre has laid bare the brutal reality of going through motherhood as she shares an unseen picture.The doctor and mum-of-two took to her Instagram page to talk about Maternal Mental Health Awareness week, which she said is a topic "extremely close" to her heart. Posting a photo of her with her youngest child, Theo, in an Eeyore outfit, the doctor said she is "raising awareness about mental health problems before, during and after pregnancy". She explained that the photo came from Millie’s third birthday, who is her eldest child with Peter Andre.
At the time Theo was around six weeks old as he dressed up for a Winnie the Pooh themed birthday party. Alongside the snap, Emily wrote: "I wanted to take the opportunity to mark the end of Maternal Mental Health Awareness week. A topic extremely close to my heart, it is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health problems before, during and after pregnancy.
"I wanted to share this picture, taken on Millie’s 3rd birthday. My gorgeous little Theo was around 6 weeks old - dressed as Eeyore for Millie’s Winnie the Pooh party."It was the first time in a while I had worn makeup, or got dressed into normal clothes! Looking at the picture I can remember what an achievement that felt." She went on to tell followers that at the time, Theo has "reflux and a tongue tie" and that she was recovering from her second "bout of mastitis" as well as just having had a caesarean. Emily went on: "I hadn’t had more than an hours sleep in one go more than a handful of times since he was born.
"The reason I’m bringing this up, is that although I have memories of what was behind this picture, for those looking in it probably wasn’t obvious. I didn’t discuss it with many people at the time. I
