Elton John is believed to have splashed the cash ahead of his Glasgow gig on Saturday night as a treat for his crew.
The 76-year-old is understood to have placed a substantial order at family-run smokehouse venue Dennistoun Bar-B-Que on Saturday in the East end of the city.
Staff shared a copy of the receipt for his order which said it was placed by Elton John, and also shared pictures of food bagged up and ready to go to the Ovo Hydro where the superstar was performing.
The bill totalled over £600.
The order included 25 BBQ pork buns, 25 BBQ brisket buns, one vegan 'granny' burger, four veggie smoke stacks, six chicken burgers and 10 portions of garlic fries.
"Saturday nights alright for eating," they captioned the Instagram post alongside a gif of Elton's face plastered in front of the half a dozen boxes of food bundled into the back of a car.
The Tiny Dancer singer is on Scottish turf to perform his shows in Aberdeen and Glasgow as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, having already wowed fans at the P&J Live. Saturday night was his first Glasgow show.
Sir Elton's Farewell Yellow Brick Road had to previously be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and then again as he had to undergo surgery on his hip.
After his gig tonight in the people's city, Sir Elton will jet off to perform in Paris, Zurich, Copenhagen and Sweden.
