Elliot Page Recalls Having Stress-Induced Shingles While Filming 'Inception': 'I Felt Out of Place'

Elliot Page has detailed a painful battle with Shingles when he was just 22, partly due to the stress of his personal life and being surrounded by cis men while filming Inception. The actor became a household name overnight when he starred in classic teen movie Juno, and went on to appear alongside the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Goron-Levitt and Ed Hardy in the 2010 blockbuster. The actor, who publicly came out as trans in December 2020, told the outlet that his family were initially not accepting after he came out as gay.

The 36-year-old star- who was previously married to Emma Portner from 2018 until 2021 - was born female and lived as Oscar-winning actress Ellen Page but came out as a trans man in December 2020 and has now revealed that he finds interacting with others "much easier" than before. He told the LA Times: "It’s the most fun I’ve ever had dating.
