Ryan J. Sloan‘s “Gazer” is a classic thriller that will surely have Cannes audiences on the edge of their seats when it world premieres in competition in Directors’ Fortnight at this year’s festival. Set in New Jersey and starring Sloan’s partner Ariella Mastroianni, “Gazer” is the story of Frankie, a young mother with a rare degenerative brain condition called dyschronometria.

Bridgerton returns in 2024 with another batch of episodes.Created by Chris Van Dusen, the period drama revolves around the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society in the early 1800s.The show is based on the books by Julia Quinn, with the third season adapting her fourth Regency romance novel, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.Following the second season, a spin-off titled Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story was released in May 2023. The first four episodes of season three arrived on May 16, 2024.The remaining four episodes of season three will be released on June 13, so there’s only a month to wait for the concluding half.Bridgerton was renewed for a third and fourth season back in April 2021, so another batch of episodes is already in the pipeline – although an exact release date is unknown.It seems like there’s plans for more seasons and spin-offs too.

28 Years Later finally has a release date, and it’s not a long wait.Per a report from Variety, Sony Pictures has seemingly confirmed that the Danny Boyle-led sequel to 28 Days Later is due to arrive on June 20, 2025. The film will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes and Jack O’Connell – the latter’s casting in the film was reported on by Deadline Hollywood last week.28 Years Later, first announced earlier this year, will be directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, both of whom led the original 2002 film.
