EastEnders' latest filming pictures, which were snapped from a warehouse location in East London, have teased Phil Mitchell's highly-anticipated return to the BBC soap after his stint in prison. The Albert Square hardman, who was locked up behind bars after police discovered he was involved in Vincent Hubbard's death, has apparently managed to secure an early release as he returns to Walford with one goal in mind. Upon learning the devastating truth that his son Ben Mitchell, played by Max Bowden, was raped by Lewis Butler (Aidan O'Callaghan), Phil (Steve McFadden) goes on the warpath in a bid to seek revenge. The filming images see actor Steve McFadden stalking the warehouse location with some serious scenes to get through, as he also has red bloody makeup dripping from the knuckles on his right hand.
Wearing Phil's usual zip-up jacket and plain black jeans, the actor can also be seen donning a camouflage bucket hat to shield from the unrelenting London sunshine in between takes. It appears Phil will let loose on the evil Lewis, as actor Aidan is also pictured covered in costume blood and showing a roughed-up face using makeup, in tense scenes expected to air over the next several weeks.
Fans can also expect to see Ben at the location, as actor Max is pictured wearing a grey ribbed top and jeans with his jacket in his hands. Phil's sister Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) will also be involved in the exciting episode, which will presumably see the angry dad determined to support his son in the only way he knows how.
