Former EastEnders star Michelle Collins has revealed that she was rushed to hospital after a "worrying" health issue.The 60 year old actress, who is best-known for playing Cindy Beale in the BBC soap from 1988 to 1998, took to Twitter to share the news of her hospital dash as she thanked the NHS staff. She tweeted: "Thank you @ nhs @RoyalFreeNHS for seeing me this morning at 9 am ,been a Worrying time but hopefully now all ok." Michelle then added: "When it works the @NHSEngland is fantastic ! Don’t destroy it #Tories #savethenhs." The actress didn't clarify exactly what the health issue was, but her fans were quick to wish her well in the comments section of her post.
One person wrote: "Wishing you the best Michelle xx" whilst another commented: "Hope you’re ok Michelle xx". A third said: "Sending love Michelle hope you're okay," as a fourth wrote: "Wishing you the best of health….." It seems like all is well now, however, as she posted a snap of the view from her hotel room, as she revealed that she was there filming something, but didn't reveal what it was.
The star, who has also appeared in Coronation Street, Casualty and Doctor Who, captioned the post: "Beautiful View from my hotel in north Devon today . #firstday #filming." Last year, Michelle paid a visit to a walk-in doctors clinic after falling ill, and this time she also updated her followers as she shared a snap of the clinic.
Alongside it, she wrote: "Thank you so much, under two hour wait and great staff, doctors, polite, well mannered. "Thank god we still have these to put less pressure on A&E, had tests and went away with antibiotics." When asked by a fan if she was ok following the dash, she replied: "Yes, thanks.
