Since then, there have been many rumblings about of some kind of bricks-and-mortar Tower relaunch — there was a vaguely defined space on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, and rumors, stickers and posters have been seen around New York for many months. On Wednesday, it made sense: The company has unveiled Tower Labs, a new creative space in Brooklyn, New York. Located on Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Tower Labs “is designed to engage and stimulate music fans with a range of offerings including live music events, album listening parties, and a new speakeasy style ‘vinyl drop’ window for limited edition music and merchandise releases,” according to the announcement.

Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic The phone-call-with-the-killer sequence that opens every “Scream” film is always a tasty appetizer, one that as the characters in any “Scream” film could tell you establishes the tone for the movie in question. In “Scream VI,” that scene kicks off at the bar of a trendy restaurant in downtown Manhattan. The woman seated at the bar is a professor of cinema studies, blonde and British. As she says on the phone to her online date, who can’t seem to locate the restaurant, she’s teaching a course in slasher films (which, the way she explains it, is no stab in the dark of plausibility). Her date, a sweetly annoying dork, is able to talk her out onto the street to help him find the place, and by the time she’s walking into a dark alley we know what’s coming. (His voice lowers into that familiar mocking AM-radio-DJ growl.) In this case, though, the killer is instantly unmasked as…a college bro. He returns to his apartment, and moments later he’s the scary-movie victim, talking on the phone with the real killer.

Travis Scott is reportedly being sought by police for questioning about an alleged altercation that took place at a New York nightclub early Wednesday (March 1).The New York City Police Department responded to the scene at Club Nebula around 3:25am EST, after reports that a man “was involved in a verbal dispute with” Scott, according to NBC News.The rapper – real name Jacques Bermon Webster II – allegedly escalated the situation with a sound engineer “into a physical altercation”, and “punched the victim with a closed fist on the left side of the face”.Scott was also accused of causing about $12,000 (£9,853) worth of damage to a speaker and video screen.The rapper had performed a DJ set at a concert afterparty for labelmate Don Toliver.In a statement to Entertainment Tonight from Scott’s lawyer, Mitchell Schuster, he described the situation as a “misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation,”adding “we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. The New York Police Department wants to question rapper Travis Scott about an alleged assault on a man at a Manhattan nightclub, Fox News Digital has learned. "As of right now there is no one being sought in regard to the incident," the NYPD revealed. "However, the investigation is ongoing." Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor Electronic-music titans Skrillex, Fred Again and Four Tet have announced that they will be performing live at New York’s Madison Square Garden this coming Saturday, Feb. 18. Skrillex made the announcement on his Instagram account Wednesday; tickets appeared on Ticketmaster around the same time. While the three have already played last-minute shows together at London venues such as Troxy and the Electric Ballroom, this show will be the first at a major venue. They have been working together on new music in New York and on Tuesday night sold out a special Valentine’s Day pop-up show at Good Room last night.

Starting with a two-night stand in Huntsville, AL (July 11-12), the band will continue on for performances in Alpharetta, GA (July 14-16), Wilmington, NC (July 18-19), Burgettstown, PA (July 21-22), Syracuse, NY (July 23), Philadelphia, PA (July 25-26), and a seven-night run at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (July 28-August 5). The band’s summer 2023 will cap with their traditional Labor Day Weekend run at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO, returning for four nights (August 31-September 3).
