Eamonn Holmes has shared a worrying health update as he returned to screens. The broadcaster was seen back fronting his GB News breakfast show without his usual co-host Isabel Webster when he commented on his health woes that have been plaguing him for years.
Eamonn has been keeping his social media followers updated on his progress after first speaking out about his ill health while still a presenter on This Morning. After an initial stint at the hospital with unbearable pain, Eamonn later discovered was being caused by a dislocated pelvis and a trapped sciatic nerve.
Previously describing his struggles as 'soul-destroying', the Irish star also underwent surgery last September to try to help relieve him of pain. However, he suffered a fall during his recovery, which resulted in him fracturing his shoulder and having to have more surgery. But Eamonn has since been undergoing regular rehab and often shares updates online.

But on Monday (September 4), Eamonn made comments on GB News that will be sure to concern his loyal fan base. When chatting with guest Tim Franklin, who is on a mission to jog his way around the world, Eamonn admitted: "I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven't recovered from and I can't run, I can't walk, I can't do anything except watch TV and eat."
He went on to say: "It's not good, it's not a good recipe I have to say," before adding to Tim: "You are a good motivation for all of us. What would you say to people out there who just have not got that motivation? You know what that feels like, what would you say to them?"
