Eamonn Holmes has reignited his feud with Phillip Schofield as he called the This Morning presenter "passive aggressive".The 62 year old presenter didn't hold back as he discussed his and wife Ruth Langsford's role change on the IT daytime show and her rumoured feud with Phillip. Eamonn's wife Ruth was rumoured to filed an official complaint about Phillip and claimed he caused a "toxic" atmosphere on the show. Months later it was announced Eamonn and Ruth would no longer be hosting their Friday slots on This Morning.

Eamonn and Ruth, 61, were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary after the couple hosted Fridays and the holidays on This Morning. And now, after leaving ITV for GB News, Eamonn has hit out at his former fellow This Morning presenter Phillip, 59.
He said: "Phillip is renowned for snubbing people. "He's very passive-aggressive. It's up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her.
No one would have snubbed me like that. "I have a good Belfast street fighter in me… I would be direct. I don't go for presenters who think they have a special privilege or aura or influence." He added that he had "no idea" why he and Ruth were being replaced on the slot.
Eamonn told Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine: "No one explained anything to me. "I'm all for TV companies being able to choose who works for them, but it would be nice if you were told why you were going. "They're sly. They didn't want to announce that I'd been dropped because it would adversely affect audience figures, so they made it look as if I'd walked away from them rather than the other way round.
