People who suffer from certain neurological conditions could be eligible for extra financial support from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
The government department offers up to £171.75 every week for hundreds of thousands of people with certain conditions in order to help them cope with everyday financial burdens.
With the cost of living crisis putting pressure on everyone, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) can really help ease the struggle and assist people who have difficulty doing everyday tasks because of their condition or disability.
Below is a list of 70 neurological conditions being supported through PIP, as reported by the Liverpool Echo. A claimant’s main disabling or medical condition is recorded during their assessment, and the categories and groupings are based on DWP data.
