'Dukes of Hazzard' Actor John Schneider's Wife Alicia Has Died at 53

John Schneider is mourning the death of his wife Alicia Allain, who has passed away at the age of 53.
The 62-year-old The Dukes of Hazzard actor shared the devastating news with fans in a post on his Facebook page this week.

“My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus. Please respect our privacy during this time of grief. Please do not ask any questions,” John wrote on his page. “If you have any pictures of us and our obvious love and adoration for each other, please post them below. Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.”
A cause of death has not been disclosed, but John has publicly talked about Alicia‘s battle with breast cancer in the past.
John wrote a lengthier post that was published on Thursday (February 23).
“This is a time of unimaginable sorrow for me. Grief is much too small a word. I’ve heard it said that ‘with great love comes great sorrow.’ I had no idea what that meant until now,” John wrote. “Alicia was the fuel that ran my biggest dreams. The inspiration behind every creative thought. The very fabric of my soul. The glue that held me together. I miss her more than any words could possibly describe. Pain is too small a word. Grief is too small a word. Love itself is too small a word.”
