While Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” film series was basically killed off after its underperforming sequel, “Alien: Covenant,” clearly, 20 Century Studios believes the show must go on for the Alien/xenomorph franchise. And maybe it needs a cheaper cast to be cost-effective.

Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen is set to return to TV screens with a brand new series.The 19 year old, who is the son of Amanda and Clive Owen, will be giving viewers a look into his heavy plant machinery business. The new six-part series, titled Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, will begin airing on Channel 5 on 28 March. Reuben will star in the programme alongside his best pals Tommy and Sarah, who he runs his business with in a remote village in the Yorkshire Dales.

Ellise Shafer “How to Get to Heaven From Belfast,” the new series from “Derry Girls” creator Lisa McGee, has moved to Netflix from Channel 4. Produced by Hat Trick Productions, the comedy thriller will start shooting in Northern Ireland later this year. The project was announced by Channel 4 in August 2023.

Following the success of its 2023 series, the critically-acclaimed hit drama Shetland has been recommissioned by the BBC for two new series.
