A man who tragically died at a major international airport is believed to have intentionally climbed into the plane's engine, police have revealed.

A trio of drug dealers were hauled off a plane at Manchester Airport as they were about to fly to Ibiza. The three men, who hid behind the anonymous usernames "Mucky Mouth", "Frosty Finger" and "Wireless Dove", had tens of thousands of pounds and luxury watches seized from them after they were stopped.
Karlos Escoffery, David Bradley and Dylan Adams were among the latest criminals to be exposed by the law enforcement infiltration of the EncroChat communications network, often dubbed 'WhatsApp for criminals'. They were found to have operated a secret "trade society" for the supply of heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis, the Echo reports.
Liverpool Crown Court heard that the trio "each ran their own businesses, acting as wholesalers or commodity brokers" but also acted in a "loose trade society" and would sell to one another, with the "direction in supply changing" between them regularly. They then sold onwards to their own respective customers, who were based as far afield as Scotland.

Alex Langhorn, prosecuting, described how Adams, of Cadogan Street in Wavertree, used the handle "WirelessDove" on the encrypted communications platform service. Messages revealed when the network was infiltrated by the French police during 2020 showed the 34-year-old's involvement in discussions to supply 17kg of cocaine, 10kg of heroin and 100kg of cannabis.
Escoffery, of Scholes in St Helens, went by the pseudonym "MuckyMouth". The 50-year-old dad's communications showed agreements to traffic around 24kg of cocaine and 24.5kg of heroin.
