Drake Surprises Fans By Dropping 2 New Tracks: ‘When To Say When’ & ‘Chicago Freestyle’

Lil Yachty is celebrating the fourth anniversary of Lil Boat with a new song and its music video. The track is “Oprah’s Bank Account” and it features DaBaby and Drake. In the video, made by Director X, Yachty portrays Oprah. Watch below.

Over the weekend, Drake shared “Chicago Freestyle” as part of a surprise two-track drop. Upon first listen, many fans speculated that the guest vocals on the song belonged to Sampha, who previously collaborated with Drake on “The Motion” and “4422.”

Drake has shared a video for two new songs called “When to Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle.” On Saturday night, the rapper surprised fans by dropping the Theo Skudra-directed visual, which was filmed in Brooklyn and his hometown of Toronto. On “When to Say When,” Drake notably utilizes the same sample as JAY-Z’s “Song Cry,” while “Chicago Freestyle” features a lyrical nod toward Eminem’s “Superman” and a guest spot by newcomer, Giveon.

Now we know what Drake was filming in Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects last month: The rapper dropped two new songs late Saturday night, “When to Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle,” which are merged into a single video. The footage, directed by Theo Skudra, was also shot in Manhattan’s Diamond district and Drake’s hometown of Toronto.

Drake delivered a late night surprise in the form of not one, but two new songs on Saturday (Feb. 29) that touch on fatherhood, his Billboard chart success and more.In "When to Say When," Drake offers a bit of an update on where he's at in his life and career, bragging of bringing "a few Ws to the 6ix" and shouting out the mother of his son, Adonis (sort of: "Baby mama fluke, but I love her for who she is").

Drake has shared two new tracks, “When to Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle.” “When to Say When” features the same sample as JAY-Z’s “Song Cry,” and “Chicago Freestyle” interpolates Eminem’s “Superman.” The latter song features guest vocals from Giveon.
