Drake is showing off his impressive hand-eye coordination skills.
During a concert at the Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif. on Friday night (August 18), the rapper was nearly hit in the head by a copy of his own poetry book, Titles Ruin Everything.

In a video, Drake can be seen catching the book mid-air before it hits him in the face. He then pointed to a fan in the crowd and let them know if he hadn’t caught it, things would not be looking good for them.
“You’re lucky I’m quick, or I would’ve had to beat your ass if that hit me in the face,” he said. You can watch the full exchange here.
This summer has seen a number of performers be hit by flying objects during their concerts. A few months ago, Bebe Rexha had to get stitches after she was struck in the face by an iPhone. Shortly after that, Ava Max was hit in the face by a fan who jumped up on stage, and a fan threw their mother’s ashes up on stage during Pink‘s concert.
