Don Lemon is returning to the air amid controversy.
The 56-year-old CNN anchor will be returning to CNN This Morning on Wednesday (February 22), the network’s CEO Chris Licht said in a memo one day before.
Don had stepped away following his comments about Nikki Haley, regarding women and the age of being in their “prime,” for which he apologized on social media.

“I sat down with Don and had a frank and meaningful conversation. He has agreed to participate in formal training, as well as continuing to listen and learn. We take this situation very seriously,” he said in a memo sent Monday night (February 20), obtained by THR.
“It is important to me that CNN balances accountability with fostering a culture in which people can own, learn and grow from their mistakes. To that end, Don will return to CNN This Morning on Wednesday.”
