100 years of Disney magic will be celebrated in a special concert in Manchester this June featuring a live orchestra.
Disney In Concert: The Sound of Magic will feature iconic scenes and characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios with classic soundtracks brought to life by the Novello Orchestra.
Fans will be able to experience moments from films including Encanto, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Aladdin, The Lion King, Moana, Alice in Wonderland and The Jungle Book.

Following on from its debut in the UK at the London Coliseum last year, Disney In Concert: The Sound of Magic will come to Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on June 4. Tickets will go on presale via Ticketmaster from Wednesday (February 21), with general sale beginning on Friday (February 23) at 10am.
The show, which has been described as being a ‘truly sumptuous multimedia experience’ will see film scenes projected on a large screen with the Novello Orchestra playing along live in front of you.
Following the Manchester show, the UK tour will head to Bath, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Birmingham, before finishing up at the London Eventim Apollo on June 13.
Creative Director Amy Tinkham, Music Director Giles Martin and Arranger and Orchestrator Ben Foster will all front up the special show. The show is suitable for all ages, but children under the age of five will not be permitted into the venue.
