Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus were among the many celebs who took the stage at Global Citizen’s Power Our Planet: Live in Paris!
The longtime couple appeared on stage to speak to the crowd on Thursday night (June 22) in Paris, France.
Other celebs who made appearances included Michelle Yeoh, Connie Britton, Danai Gurira, Padma Lakshmi, Common, and Sabrina Elba. There were also a lot of great performers who entertained the crowd!
The stars all signed a joint statement that was released after the event.

The Summit for a New Global Financial Pact could have been a turning point on climate change and the future of our planet. We came to Paris hopeful for radical reform, ready to celebrate breakthroughs for equity and justice on behalf of vulnerable countries that are trying to tackle climate change.
Instead, we are disappointed to see that most leaders of the world’s richest nations and most powerful institutions have once again gathered and emerged with insufficient solutions and lightly-held promises.

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic The Global Citizen Festival will return to Central Park Sept. 23 for another ticketed-but-free concert, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ms. Lauryn Hill set as the day’s headliners. Megan Thee Stallion, Conan Gray and Stray Kids are also on the day’s bill. As always, tickets to the show on the Great Lawn are free, but require fulfilling a task as part of the international advocacy organization Global Citizen’s initiative to raise awareness about hunger, poverty, climate change and inequities facing women around the world, among pressing related concerns. The broadcast component will be produced by Done and Dusted; broadcast partners have not yet been announced. The show is being presented by by Citi and Cisco.
Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Taylor Swift’s French fans are disarray as sales for the singer’s Eras Tour in Paris have been abruptly halted on Ticketmaster on Tuesday (July 11). Ticketmaster said on Twitter that “The Taylor Swift sale | The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold.” The ticketing website added that it will keep people “posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible.” It also said that “all codes not already used will remain valid.” The issue appears to stem from a technical glitch on Ticketmaster causing people to be unable to log into the website with their passwords. Swift is slated to perform in Paris, at the Défense Arena concert hall, as part of her Eras Tour on May 9, 10, 11 and 12 mai 2024.
San Diego Union-Tribune has been acquired by an affiliate of Alden Global Capital’s MediaNews Group in a sale by the Los Angeles Times. Chris Argentieri, president and chief operating officer of the L.A. Times, confirmed the sale in a statement distributed to staff members and obtained by Variety on Monday. The message included words from owner Patrick Soon-Shiong, who purchased both the Times and Union-Tribune from Tribune Publishing in 2018. “The Union-Tribune is a great news organization with a long, distinguished history that I hope will continue to serve the San Diego community for generations to come,” said Soon-Shiong. “Our intention now is to focus on the ongoing work of transforming the L.A. Times into a self-sustaining institution. Our hometown of Los Angeles and the state of California – really, the West Coast – needs a strong, independent news organization. We believe in the L.A. Times and are committed to its future.”
