A derelict house in Trafford which attracted dozens of 'serious' complaints from neighbours looks unrecognisable after undergoing an incredible transformation.
The property on Mossgrove Road in Timperley had been empty for several years and had been causing a nuisance for locals - forcing Trafford Council's Housing Standards to step in. A series of warning letters were issued to the owner after they failed to make improvements to the house and gardens, which had fallen into disrepair.
According to Trafford Council, the homeowner failed to make sufficient renovations meaning the property and land became more dilapidated.

The owner was warned that if they failed to comply the council would complete the works itself. All unpaid costs would be recovered by the council enforcing the sale of the property.
They eventually agreed to sell the house last summer, the council say, and the home has since undergone a huge makeover and sold to a new owner - much to the joy of local residents.
The house looks completely transformed with the brickwork restored, and brand new windows and door fittings installed. The property's previously unkept front garden has also been turned into a modern driveway.
Cllr James Wright, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Housing and Neighbourhoods, said: “Far too many properties are empty in Trafford and this does not make any sense given the fact we are facing such a huge housing shortage.
