Depeche Mode add extra North American leg to ‘Memento Mori’ world tour

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Sideshow and Janus Films have bought North American rights for “Orlando, My Political Biography,” Paul B. Preciado’s film which won four awards at the Berlinale. In “Orlando, My Political Biography,” Preciado sheds light on Virginia Woolf’s “Orlando,” the first novel in which the main character changes sex in the middle of the story.  A century later, Preciado, who is a trans writer and activist, decides to send a film letter to Woolf, telling her that Orlando has come out of her fiction and is living a life she could have never imagined. Preciado organizes a casting and gathers 26 contemporary trans and non-binary people, from 8 to 70 years old, who embody Orlando.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa have announced a massive joint tour titled ‘High School Reunion’ across North America.Snoop announced the 33-date run via a poster on Instagram on March 7. The tour will kick off on July 7 in Vancouver before wrapping up the run in Irvine, California on August 27.

Netflix is not reducing prices in North America or Western Europe, its most mature markets. All told, the price reductions span more than 100 markets, according to research firm Ampere Analysis (see list, below). Those include Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Kenya, Iran, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Yemen, Jordan, Libya, Slovenia and Bulgaria.

The run is set to conclude with a pair of LA gigs at the city’s Kia Forum and Crypto.com Arena.Kelly Lee Owens and Gahan’s daughter Stella Rose will appear as the support acts on the first North American leg.

K-pop girl group Cherry Bullet will return with their third mini-album ‘Cherry Dash’ next month.Cherry Bullet first announced their comeback last week, later revealing that the record’s title track is ‘P.O.W (Play On the World)’, with the entire EP due for release on March 7 at 6pm KST. The record’s tracklist has yet to be shared at the time of publication.The release of ‘Cherry Dash’ will mark the seven-piece’s first music in a year, their last project being the sophomore mini-album ‘Cherry Wish’ released in March 2022.

TWICE have announced the ‘Ready To Be’ world tour with stops in South Korea, Australia, Japan and North America.The K-pop girl group will support their upcoming mini-album ‘Ready To Be’ by taking over arenas on the first part of their fifth world tour. It will kick off with two nights in Seoul in April before moving onto Sydney and Melbourne in Australia the following month.
