EXCLUSIVE: The Onyx Collective for Hulu comedy series Deli Boys is rounding out its cast with 9 including Kevin Corrigan (Ray Donovan), Alexandra Ruddy (City of Lies), Tim Baltz (The Righteous Gemstones) and Zainne Saleh (The Binge).
In Deli Boys, when their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers (Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh) lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.
Alfie Fuller, Poorna Jagannathan and Brian George also star.

Corrigan recurs as Chickie Lozano, an old-school, Italian American crime boss in Philadelphia. He is terrifying yet charming. Ruddy recurs as Agent Mercer, a female FBI agent excluded from the boys club of the agency and on a mission to prove herself. Baltz recurs as Director Simpson, the regional director of the FBI and Agent Mercer’s boss who fancies himself an American hero. Saleh recurs as Bushra, Mir’s (Asif Ali) fiancé, smart and ambitious but carries herself as if she were a Pakistani princess.
Sakina Jaffrey recurs as Seema, Bushra’s (Zainne Saleh) mother and a powerful woman who thinks her daughter deserves better. Amita Rao recurs as Nandika, who is into cosplay and Raj (Saagar Shaikh). She works the front counter of her parents’ Indian restaurant.
Anish Jethmalani recurs as Patika, a docile man who owns a failing Indian restaurant with his family. Minita Gandhi recurs as Latika, the wife of Patika (Anish Jethmalani) who runs their restaurant and the show. Geoffrey Arend guest stars as Ralph, the temperamental cocaine “chef” of the Dar operation.

Selome Hailu Dropout has set a new series of live recorded comedy specials titled “Dropout Presents.” The series will launch on June 12 with Hank Green‘s “Pissing Out Cancer,” taped at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles Green is a YouTuber best known for the “Vlogbrothers” channel he runs alongside his brother, John Green, with whom he also produces educational shows such as “Crash Course.” He is also the author of the novels “An Absolutely Remarkable Thing” (2018) and “A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor” (2020). Green was diagnosed with cancer in May 2023 and has thoroughly documented his experiences with the illness on the internet.
