The upcoming third installment in the Marvel movie franchise, starring Ryan Reynolds, has decided to stop filming as the SAG-AFTRA strike gets underway, Variety reported on Friday (July 14).

Deadpool 3 is one of the first major productions to be impacted by the strike.
Production for the new movie just recently began in England, and Ryan, 46, was seen filming a car crash scene in the woods last week. Just the other day, Ryan was visited on set by wife Blake Lively.
Tons of movies and television shows have already been filmed and studios will still release them in the coming months, but don’t expect to see any actors promoting them. SAG-AFTRA has limited the appearances that celebrities are allowed to make during the strike.
The strike will affect the union’s 160,000 members, but there are some actors out there who will still be working on projects at this time.
