David Harbour Gets Naughty as Santa Claus in ‘Violent Night’ Trailer

On the night of November 13, 2015, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks throughout Paris left 130 people dead and hundreds injured. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which was then in control of large swaths of land in the Middle East, took responsibility for the attacks.

A group of ecstatic archaeologists have discovered the official resting place of St Nicholas, the man who was the inspiration behind the worldwide renowned figure of Santa Claus. The Christian bishop's tomb was uncovered amongst the ruins of a prehistoric Christian Orthodox Church in Myra, Turkey that was destroyed in the Middle Ages after it was flooded by rising Mediterranean sea levels.

At a time when things seem difficult all over the world, the trailer to “Good Night Oppy” transports audiences to Mars and reminds us of the watershed moments all of humanity can share pride in. The film’s synopsis is as follows: “’Good Night Oppy’ tells the inspirational true story of Opportunity, a rover that was sent to Mars for a 90-day mission but ended up surviving for 15 years.

Universal has dated a brand new M. Night Shyamalan thriller on the theatrical release calendar for April 5, 2024. No further details were revealed. This is the weekend after Easter. No other wide releases are schedule on the weekend for the new Shyamalan movie.

Olivia Culpo got emotional discussing a past relationship during a first look trailer of the new TLC series "The Culpo Sisters."  A trailer for the upcoming series dropped on October 6.The show stars Culpo alongside her older sister Aurora and younger sister Sophia.  In the trailer, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model explained moving across the country and how her sisters followed.  "I moved to L.A. but my sisters couldn't stand to be away from me, so they moved too," Olivia said.  "The Culpo Sisters" is a new television show following the lives of sisters Olivia, Sophia and Aurora.  ( Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images) Her parents also made an appearance in the trailer, where they talked about their lack of understanding for what Culpo's job is.  "They call Olivia an influencer," Culpo's mother, Susan, said.

At New York Comic-Con today, attendees finally got a look at Illumination Animation/Universal’s The Super Mario Bros Movie, which features the voices of Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.

Violent Night – check out the first trailer below.The actor, best known for roles in Stranger Things and Marvel’s Black Widow, takes on a weary, vengeful version of Saint Nick in the action-comedy directed by Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters).A synopsis reads: “When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.”Violent Night is written by Patrick Casey and Josh Miller (Sonic The Hedgehog), and also stars John Leguizamo (Carlito’s Way) as leader of the mercenaries, Ben, and Beverly D’Angelo (American History X) as the matriarch, Gertrude.The film is produced by 87North, the production company founded by director David Leitch and Kelly McCormick, which has previously worked on action films Nobody and Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt.The film is set to have its world premiere at New York Comic Con on October 7. It will be released in cinemas worldwide on December 2, 2022.Harbour is set to star in a film adaptation of the PlayStation racing game series Gran Turismo, helmed by director Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium).

Apple Original Films has dated the run-from-slavery thriller Emancipation for a December 2 theatrical opening, followed by a December 9 release on its Apple TV+ streaming site. This follows the film’s first showing in DC on Saturday, with star Will Smith and director Antoine Fuqua (who flew in from Italy, where he and Denzel Washington are shooting a third Equalizer film) discussed the fact-based film in a screening orchestrated by Apple and NAACP during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Legislative Conference.
