Pregnant Dani Dyer, 26, is set to open up about her experience and struggles of being a new mum in a new Channel 4 documentary, Dani Dyer: Is This Anxiety? The former Love Island contestant said she is “excited to be working with E4” to discuss the topic and will talk about what it is like being a young mum who struggles with anxiety. Dani became a first time mum when she gave birth to her sweet son Santiago in January 2021, and the young mum is about to become a mum of three as she is currently pregnant with twins.The new documentary will include Dani speaking about the pressure and loneliness she experienced when she became a first-time mum and how it can be “overwhelming” Dani said: “Anxiety is a topic that everyone’s heard about, but we still don’t openly talk about our experiences.
It can affect anyone, but as a young mum, it can be overwhelming. “I’m really excited to be working with E4 and Summer Films to explore this topic, remove the stigma associated with mental health and meet other mums who have struggled with the pressures of what a supposed ‘good mum’ looks like.” This isn’t the first time that Dani had opened up about her battle with anxiety.
In 2021 she said: “I’ve always suffered with anxiety and stress. I overthink and panic about things that don’t need to be worried about.
When I was growing up I didn’t really know what anxiety was."
