That TBD on ABC’s fall lineup has finally been revealed: Dancing with the Stars will now air on Tuesdays.
The 32nd season of the long-running franchise was originally set to premiere on Mondays. But the network has been rejiggering its reality-heavy schedule in light of the ongoing strike, like moving Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise to Thursdays while Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and $100,000 Pyramid will switch to Wednesdays.
DWTS will now kick off Tuesdays starting with an expanded premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 26. It will be followed that night with a special Dancing with the Stars cast episode of Celebrity Family Feud.
ABC has yet to announce what will air after DWTS on Oct. 3. Press Your Luckwill join the Tuesday night lineup on Oct. 10 at 10 p.m.
In other news, DWTS has announced its third competitor for the upcoming season: actress Jamie Lynn Spears is joining Vanderpump Rules‘ Ariana Madix and The Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawson under the mirror ball.
The full cast of celebrities and pro dancers will be announced tomorrow on Good Morning America.
Dancing with the Stars will be co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. Judges will be Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. The show is produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
