Dancing on Ice star leaves Holly Willoughby in shock as he 'knocks out' Stephen Mulhern with one punch

The contestants of Dancing On Ice weren't the only ones falling to the floor in tonight's premiere thanks to boxing star Ricky Hatton, who took host Holly Willoughby and viewers by surprise by punching Stephen Mulhern.
The Deal or No Deal presenter, 46, made his hosting debut on the show tonight alongside Holly Willoughby as they welcomed the celebrity cast of 2024 into the rink. In one joke segment, Stephen was stood next to Ricky, forcing him to be his "human mic stand" as Holly led the show into another ad break.
When Ricky began to act annoyed by Stephen's actions, Holly turned to him and said, 'Just hit him please!' Ricky quickly punched Stephen in the arm, sending the presenter comically flying to the floor. While Holly looked visibly shocked for a few seconds, she soon pumped her fists in the air and mouthed, "Yes!" in celebration to the camera before checking on Stephen.
It seemed there was no harm done by the joke sketch as Stephen was soon back on his feet alongside Holly in the next segment. Viewers took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to talk about the incident, with one fan writing: "It's all kicking off on Dancing on Ice." Another said, "I bet Stephen Mulhern now has a dead arm after Ricky Hatton just clobbered him on Dancing on Ice," while one said: "When I tell you my soul just left my body, I might not be exaggerating." Ricky was one of six celebrities performing on Dancing on Ice tonight, taking to the rink with professional partner Robin Johnstone.
