Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo insists he and his team-mates are continuing to work hard to make the "supporters proud" following their dramatic 1-0 win over West Ham United at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Substitute Marcus Rashford, tasked with stepping off the bench for the second Premier League game in succession, netted a 93rd minute winner to secure a second straight victory and lift United back into the top-four for the first time since October, replacing the Hammers in the process.
Rashford tapped home from close quarters, connecting with Edinson Cavani's square ball, to seal what could prove to be a defining three points in the race for a top-four finish, sending Old Trafford into raptures in the process.
Although it was Rashford that led the celebrations, he was soon joined and pounced upon by his team-mates, all of whom revelled in the moment.
Ronaldo, who went close to scoring on a couple of occasions, joined in with the celebrations, as to be expected, and he sent a passionate message to United's supporters following the full-time whistle.
Ronaldo posted on Instagram: "One more important win before the Premier League stoppage, one more step towards our goals.
"The road is bumpy and filled with obstacles, but we stand together and [are] working hard to make our supporters proud.
"Let's go Devils!"
Although United left it late to get the job done, interim manager Ralf Rangnick felt his side were fully worthy of all three points.
"If you score in the last second of the game that is the best type of win, a clean sheet," Rangnick told Sky Sports. "I think in the end we deserved to win. It takes patience to play West Ham.
"A few moments at the end I wished we would have passed the ball
