A driver has been rushed to hospital following a crash on a major Scots road.

Police have closed the A9 near Broxden Roundabout after a horror one vehicle crash with cows reported to be loose on the road.
Emergency services remain at the scene, near Perth, after the alarm was raised at around 7.10am on Tuesday, January 17.
The road is shut in both directions with motorists being told to expect major delays after a second collision is reported to have taken place. It is not currently known whether anyone has been injured or any of the animals hurt.
At around 8am, Traffic Scotland tweeted: “The A9 remains CLOSED both ways following a further accident taking place near to the Broxden Roundabout. Several Cows are still reported to be loose on the carriageway. Traffic stationary on surrounding routes.”
They then added: “The A9 remains closed both ways following a further accident taking place near to the Broxden Roundabout. There’s currently no estimated time for the road re-opening. Traffic stationary on surrounding routes.”
In an update at 9.15am, Traffic Scotland confirmed that the northbound carriageway has now fully reopened. Lane one of the southbound carriageway has also cleared but lane two remains closed.
Police Scotland have confirmed they are at the scene but were unable to offer any further guidance on the nature of the crashes.
A force spokesperson said: "Around 7.10am on Tuesday, 17 January, police were called to a report of a road crash on the A9, near Broxden roundabout, Perth. The road has been closed in both directions and officers are at the scene."
