Idris Elba has said he and his wife Sabrina Dhowre-Elba are unable to get home despite passing the quarantine period following their coronavirus diagnosis.The 47 year old actor posted a video on his Twitter updating his fans on his and his wife’s condition, two weeks after revealing he had tested positive for covid-19, with Sabrina also later testing positive for the virus.

Idris Elba was not paid to say he has coronavirus.The actor, who recently revealed that he and his wife Sabrina tested positive for the disease, took to Instagram Live to shut down a conspiracy by Cardi B claiming that celebrities are getting paid to say they have the virus."I think the negativity around 'test shaming' is counterproductive," Elba said. "I don't see what people get out of that.

Update 3/22/20: On Saturday, Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre appeared on the inaugural episode of Oprah Winfrey's new Apple TV+ series, Oprah Talks COVID-19, and the couple revealed that they have now both been positively diagnosed with the disease.
