Most visitors will be banned from the Royal Bolton Hospital as bosses ramp up measures to help combat the spread of coronavirus.
Hospital chiefs have announced that the vast majority of people will no longer be able to visit friends and family being treated at the facility.
People will only be allowed to visit in ‘exceptional circumstances’.
Those visiting thier children will be allowed in - as will main carers, birthing partners and loved ones of patients receving end of life care.
