Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine confirms arrival of third child and shares old-school name for first time

Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has confirmed the arrival of her thrid child. The actress left the ITV soap earlier this year as she headed on maternity leave before the arrival of her latest bundle of joy.
But it appears the baby girl's arrival came as a bit of a surprise to Jennie, who is famed for playing Fiz Dobbs in Corrie, and her husband of six years Chris Farr.
While the little one's arrival came earlier than expected, the soap star has held off publicly announcing the birth – just as she did with her pregnancy which she didn’t reveal until six months – preferring to stay in her newborn bubble for five months before introducing her to the big wide world.

As she introduced her little girl, Dorris, with the help of OK! Magazine for the first time, Jennie said: "I’m so aware of how precious this time is and just how quickly it goes. It’s chaos, though. I mean, it was chaos before but now it’s another level!"
Doris, born just before midnight on April 4 at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Hospital, weighing 7lbs 11oz, is a little sister for Jennie and Chris' two older children, Albert, eight, and four-year-old Hilda, and the pair did have a say in their younger sister's name. As the couple had decided not to find out the sex before the birth, the pair had two shortlists of girls’ and boys’ names.
"It was a big conversation," 39-year-old Jennie said to the publication. "There were a lot of boys’ names discarded, mainly because of football. Albert is a Manchester United fan and I think he left us with about two boys’ names to choose from.
"Doris is a family name and I love that it goes with Albert and Hilda. They’re also
