Coronation Street star Lisa George has shared how she has been 'cut' from the show's upcoming Super Soap Week scenes after falling ill. The actress is known for playing Beth Sutherland in the ITV soap and we have no doubt that she'd have something to say about Stephen Reid being exposed as a serial killer.
However, Lisa has revealed that she is "gutted" as she had to miss filming for the huge week of episodes, which will climax with Stephen's exit, due to being unwell with Covid, so scenes had to be rewritten without her in them.
She revealed to the Mirror: "I got Covid so I got cut from the scenes and so I don't know the rewrites. I don't know what is going on. I was gutted as I really liked the scenes as well, it was super soap week and there was a sudden rush of Covid and we were dropping like flies, and unfortunately, I got it as well."

And eagle-eyed Corrie fans may notice Beth's absence from screens as she explained she had not been filming due to her illness but also her holiday and so she had actually been away from set since July.
