Coronation Street star Todd Boyce has stunned fans with a new look after his dramatic exit from the ITV soap. The 62 year old actor played dastardly serial killer Stephen Reid on the cobbles but his reign of terror finally came to a grisly end during Super Soap Week last month. Fans were left gobsmacked as the evil villain turned on his own family in a bid to flee the country before being mown down and killed by Peter Barlow in his car.
Since his Weatherfield exit, Todd has been keeping fans updated on what he has been up to on social media. And his latest post has left his followers opened mouthed - as he looks totally unrecognisable from his Coronation Street character. Todd posted a picture of himself to Instagram with long hair, a goatee and wearing a sheriff’s uniform.
He took on the look for a role in new video game Alan Wake 2. As a caption, he wrote: “‘Monsters wear many faces'. Alan Wake 2 - long-awaited sequel is out now - The GAME is a psychological horror story filled with intense suspense & unexpected twists.” Fans were quick to respond to the post with their messages of shock.
One said: “Dang that doesn't look like you!!” A second added: “I love the new look Todd and I didn’t recognise you. Looking handsome.” A third wrote: “Omg wouldn’t have even recognised you.” A fourth added: “You look so different.” Todd first appeared in Coronation Street as Audrey Roberts' illegitimate son Stephen in 1996.
