Coronation Street's acid attack victim Ryan Connor will come face-to-face with his burn injuries for the very first time next week. In upcoming scenes broadcast on ITV, Daisy Midgeley - who Ryan saved from the sinister Justin Rutherford on her wedding day - takes Ibiza club promoter Crystal to see Ryan in hospital, hoping that she'll boost his confidence. After a while, the pair find a traumatised Ryan by the tram station. In the end, he returns to the infirmary for the skin grafting procedure and after some success he's allowed to go home. But when Ryan and Carla head over to the canteen, he struggles with the fact that a group of nurses are sat giggling to themselves - are they laughing at him? Exacerbating his paranoia, a little girl runs into Ryan's room chasing a ball and stares at his face.
