Coronation Street's Liam star sent three-word message by on-screen mum after co-star's 'finally' update

Coronation Street star Charlie Wrenshall has been sent a very mum-like message from his on-screen mum Samia Longchambon as he was seen alongside his co-star amid the ITV soap's heartbreaking bullying storyline.
Last week, Corrie viewers saw Liam Connor, played by Charlie, reach breaking point as his bullying hell became almost too much to bear. For months viewers have watched Liam be cruelly taunted both in person and online by Weatherfield High bully Mason Radcliffe.
The ringleader has been helped in his cruel quest to ruin Liam's young life by his gang of mates - including Dylan's former friend and neighbour Dylan Wilson. During one of his hideous bullying sessions, Mason even pulled a knife on his terrified fellow teen.

While Liam has been hiding what's been going on from his family, even getting in trouble himself with Mrs Crawshaw and the police, his mum Maria Windass, played by Samia, finally discovered the truth after setting up a fake SendPx account and alongside her husband Gary Windass, headed to the school with Liam.
But Liam had deleted all the messages he had received leaving Maria and Gary in despair and later, once back at home, Maria tried to comfort Liam, unaware he had just took to the internet to find ways to take his own life. As she gave him a hot chocolate, she promised her son that it's 'not forever' and that it'd be OK, leaving them both sobbing in each others arms.
