Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine looked gorgeous as she enjoyed a reunion with her castmates amid her maternity leave after welcoming her third child at Easter. The actress left the cobbles earlier this year as Fiz Dobbs as per her temporary exit.
She did make a welcome reappearance in the ITV soap in September when grandmother Evelyn Plummer persuaded Tyrone that he needed to let Fiz know about the goings-on in Weatherfield following his mother Cassie's unexpected arrival and so she popped up in person on a video call.
It wasn't until August that in real life, Jennie confirmed her and her husband Chris Farr's daughter's arrival into the world. While the little one's arrival came earlier than expected, the soap star has held off publicly announcing the birth – just as she did with her pregnancy which she didn’t reveal until six months – preferring to stay in her newborn bubble for five months before introducing her to the big wide world.

As she introduced her little girl, Dorris, with the help of OK! Magazine for the first time, Jennie said: "I’m so aware of how precious this time is and just how quickly it goes. It’s chaos, though. I mean, it was chaos before but now it’s another level!"
