Michaela Zee editor In celebration of the Kentucky Derby’s 150th anniversary in 2024, Churchill Downs Racetrack has partnered with Roundtable Entertainment and Wrigley Media to produce the upcoming series “The Derby.” The show doesn’t yet have a telecast partner, but will be shopped to global Kentucky Derby broadcasters at the Mipcom programming conference. “There is nothing more thrilling than the spectacle of the Kentucky Derby. We are very excited to partner with Roundtable Entertainment and Wrigley Media Group to share this extraordinary experience with our fans around the world,” said Mike Anderson, Churchill Downs Racetrack president, in a statement.
Season 1 of “The Derby” will take viewers behind the scenes of the prestigious horse racing event in Louisville, Ky., spotlighting the various figures, exclusive soirees and festivals in its 150-year history. The series will also reveal untold stories behind the Kentucky Derby’s coveted legacy.

The FBI on Monday returned to the Kentucky property where missing mom Crystal Rogers was last seen in 2015, as the agency pursues any additional tips regarding the young woman’s disappearance. Agents from the FBI’s Louisville Field Office traveled to 345 Paschal Ballard Lane in Bardstown, Kentucky early Monday morning to conduct "judicially authorized activity" related to Rogers’ July 2015 disappearance, the bureau announced on Twitter. Rogers was 35-years-old when she was last seen on July 3, 2015, at the Paschal Ballard Lane address where a farm owned by the family of Roger’s boyfriend at the time, Brooks Houck, is located, local news station WDRB.com reported. Houck was the father of one of Rogers’ children and was allegedly the last person to have seen the woman before she disappeared.

When Esperanza’s mother dies, she returns home, although she is wary of reuniting with her two sisters, Caridad (Dávila) and Faith (Valentina Izarra), after so many years apart.

Tom Meyer, a professor of Bible studies from northern Kentucky, had the idea of bringing people together to recite God’s word — without a script. With help from the ICR Discovery Center for Earth and Science, a museum in Dallas, Texas, Meyer is hosting an event for the entire community to see, in person and via live stream, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, as the New Testament is spoken aloud fully and completely from memory.
