Finally closing the door on the past, Chloe Ferry has revealed that filming new episodes of Geordie Shore in Cyprus has given her the 'closure she needed' from ex-boyfriend Sam Gowland.
The reality stars both appear in the MTV / Paramount+ show's new season, and while seeing your ex on holiday may be a nightmare for some, it was a blessing in disguise for Chloe as she finally got answers, following their split in 2019. During an exclusive chat, she told OK!: "Seeing Sam, I got the closure that I finally needed after four years.
When I found out he was coming back, I had so many questions that hadn’t been answered." The pair have both moved on since, with Chloe now in a relationship with boyfriend Johnny Wilbo, but now, no questions are unanswered. While she knows that being trapped abroad with your ex isn't something that would go down in real life, Chloe is thankful that Geordie Shore filming gave her the opportunity to come face to face with Sam.
"In real life, you would never see your ex and get to ask them after all that time. I got back a piece that he took from me and was missing for a long time," she said.
"We are civil now but I had a lot that I needed to get off my chest.
The tables really reversed because with him I was always scared to say how I felt, and this time I just went in there and said it all." And she looked good while doing it, according to best pal Marnie Simpson, who chimed in: "It was so amazing and satisfying as a friend to see her get the closure she needed."
