Charlotte Church has revealed her new ink with her Instagram followers after she got her first tattoo.
The 37-year-old singer shared the snaps of two large snakes which wrap around her wrists and forearms.
The star also shared the significant meaning behind the ink with her fans, revealing that she "loved" her new body art and thanking the artist.
Alongside the snaps, the star penned: "Each element in these snakes embodies a layer of meaning. Placed prominently on my hands and forearm, they serve as a constant reminder to bring my awareness back to the present moment reports OK!.
"They’re a testament to strengthening my body and making mindful choices as I get older.
"They’re a nod to Lilith, the first woman and her symbol of two snakes. She was equal to Adam yet refused to lay under him, and then fled from Eden gaining her independence.
"I find her story fascinating, and it fuels my fight and keeps me aware of patriarchal confines wherever I see them."
