Gogglebox's the Baggs family have confirmed their future on the show with a lengthy statement - and it is not good news for fans. Dad Terry, mum Lisa and sons Joe and George have announced they are leaving the hit Channel 4 show fresh from its latest Bafta TV win.
The four-piece joined the show back in 2020, joining more of viewers' favourite families from the comfort of their sofa at their Essex home. At the time of joining, the Baggs were already pretty well known on TikTok via Joe's account.
But after appearing on the small screen for two years, their online presence has only grown with millions of followers between them and they have now revealed they were forced to quit because they are so busy with other work commitments.

Alongside a series of photos and memes from their time on the show, with the first having a message written over it which said: "The Baggs. Gogglebox Series 16, 18 & 19," Joe shared the family's news on Instagram.
In the caption, he wrote: " Hey everyone! Wanted to give you a quick update on the Baggs family After 3 incredible seasons on Channel 4’s Gogglebox we have taken the decision to leave the show. We have loved every second of being part of the Gogglebox family and it’s truly been the opportunity of a lifetime."
And they went on to tease that they will make big announcements about new projects in the coming weeks. The message continued "With lots of exciting opportunities approaching for us all, we just couldn’t commit to filming another series but are so grateful for the opportunity.
"Thank you for all of your support whilst we have been on the show and over on TikTok.
