Liam Gallagher has responded to BRIT Awards host Mo Gilligan’s recent impression of him.Gilligan, who made his debut hosting the annual awards ceremony at The O2 in London on February 8, dressed up as Gallagher – wearing a parka, bucket hat and sunglasses – during one skit on the night.Approaching a microphone stand in Gallagher’s swaggering on-stage style, Gilligan referenced ‘Wonderwall’, Gallagher’s love for Manchester City and his 2017 solo album ‘As You Were’ while promoting the former Oasis frontman’s live BRITS performance. Lambeth, Mo Gilligan’s parents split when he was just five years old but both parents raised him while he was living in Camberwell. Mo’s flare for comedy developed when he attended a performing arts school in Pimlico and soon he was filming laugh out loud performances. The Arsenal fan began his career filming different impressions of London characters on YouTube.

While he worked his way up the comedy ladder, he gained a job as a retail assistant at the popular fashion brand Levi’s in Covent Garden and there he started experimenting with short form comedy sketches online. "I always worked in retail — Primark, the Apple Store, Reiss," he told the Evening Standard.
"It’s all about how you sell the product to them. When you do stand-up it’s like selling a piece of clothing except that you are selling yourself. ” His videos soon took off and he became a hit online as customers visited his store in London just to see the comic they had watched online.
As his views began to skyrocket, Mo started to tour the comedy circuit around his retail job, but it wasn’t until he reached his late 20s that he finally became successful enough to leave his job. Speaking to the BBC in 2018, Mo admitted that he still can’t believe how far he has come in the last year after he ditched the sales assistant role. He said: “I liked the job, though.
