Celebrity Big Brother's Nikita Kuzmin shares Strictly Come Dancing's response to ITV show request

Nikita Kuzmin has shared the response bosses at Strictly Come Dancing has when he spoke to them taking part in Celebrity Big Brother. The dancer, who joined the BBC One dance contest in 2021, signed up to the ITV's reboot of the reality series which kicked off earlier this week.
Those joining Nikita in the iconic house were X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, Coronation Street actor Colson Smith, businessman and Dragons' Den alumni Levi Roots and broadcaster and author Fern Britton.
They've also been joined by Love Island's Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith, Ibiza Weekender star David Potts, Real Housewives of Cheshire's Lauren Simon, presenter Zeze Millz, Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches and US star Marisha Wallace.

But with the first eviction set to take place on Friday night (March 8) - with Gary and Lauren up for the chop - the group will soon dwindle before the final later this month.
Following the end of the series, Nikita will be thrust back into the world of Strictly after it was previously announced he'd be taking part in the professionals tour with a number ro fhis co-stars. And Nikita has now revealed how he got BBC bosses to sanction his stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
Asked if he had to get the OK to join CBB, the 25-year-old told The Sun: "Yeah. To be fair, I also asked out of respect. They’re the ones who brought me to this country and gave me all these opportunities. I feel almost like they raised me, in a way."
