Former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has waxed lyrical about fellow countryman Alejandro Garnacho, insisting that he is playing for "one of the top three clubs in the world".
Garnacho, who will turn 19 at the beginning of July, joined United's academy from Spanish heavyweights Atletico Madrid in October 2020 and has since blossomed into a first-team player. He was the star of the Under-18s' FA Youth Cup success last season and has been rewarded with several first-team opportunities under Erik ten Hag this term.
In total, Garnacho, who could make his first appearance since overcoming an ankle injury when United welcome Wolves to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, has racked up 29 appearances this season, scoring four goals and grabbing five assists. His performances have caught the eye of watchers around the world and he is widely considered the Reds' most exciting prospect.

He has more often been used as a substitute this term.
Nevertheless, Tevez, who spent two years at Old Trafford before moving to Manchester City in 2009, has suggested that Garnacho is at the right club to continue progressing with his own development, naming the Reds as one of the world's biggest heavyweights.
"Garnacho is good," Tevez told TyC Sports. "To play for Manchester United you have to be good.
