Carlee Russell is getting backlash for lying about being kidnapped, which has become a national news story.
Her now ex-boyfriend, Thomar Simmons posted a statement on Instagram following her admission, slamming Carlee for lying and now referring to himself as her “ex” boyfriend.
He also removed Carlee from his social media accounts and stopped following her.

“I strongly feel exactly like you all. Blindsided with Carlee‘s actions. This is still an ongoing investigation but with all of the recent information and her confession now we gain closure with this situation,” he contniued.
