An independent congressional candidate in New York running to unseat Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., made a porn video to show off his "sex positive" campaign.

The two New York ex-cons accused in connection with the shooting death of the father of a local Marist College student at a Poughkeepsie hotel were ordered held without bail on Friday after they pleaded not guilty.  Roy Johnson and Devin Taylor are charged separately for their involvement in the October 2 shooting that led to the death of 53-year-old Paul Kutz and the discovery of an alleged bomb-making "manual."  Wearing a white t-shirt and an orange jail-issued jumpsuit with his hair up, Johnson – the man accused of opening fire and killing Kutz – appeared in New York's Dutchess County Court early Friday. Johnson, 35, was indicted on one count of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.  Taylor, 26, appeared separately from Johnson on two charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.  Photos show Paul Kutz with his family in an image from 2013.

The New York Times tweeted out a rhetorically charged description of Wisconsin's U.S. Senate race candidates that led to familiar charges of bias against the liberal outlet.  Leading into the Thursday night debate, the Times sent a tweet that labeled Republican Sen. Ron Johnson as a "leading peddler of misinformation" and Democratic candidate Lt.

A 26-year-old woman plunged to her death from the rooftop bar of a hotel in Times Square Wednesday afternoon, according to police.  NYPD officers responded to a 911 call just before 3:30 p.m. regarding an "aided individual" at the Hyatt Centric Hotel on 135 West 45 Street.  The Hyatt Centric in Times Square.  (WNYW) Upon arrival, the officers found a woman unconscious and unresponsive on a 27th-floor balcony with injuries indicating she had fallen from a great height.  EMS responded and pronounced the woman deceased on scene.

New York police reportedly launched a strike force after the shooting outside of Rep. Lee Zeldin’s home.  Speaking to reporters near the home of the Republican candidate for governor, Suffolk Police Commissioner Rodney K. Harrison said he is putting the strike force together for the Shirley area.  "I’m always concerned about retaliation, so putting this strike force together and grabbing officers throughout the county and kind of flooding them in a certain community is our M.O.," Harrison on Monday, according to Newsday.

Alt 92.3 brand manager Mike Kaplan — who exited as program director of Los Angeles alt-rock station KROQ in March and as format vice president for Audacy’s portfolio of alternative stations (both positions are now held by Kevin Weatherly) — will remain through the transitional phase. Alt 92.3 will move to Audacy’s streaming platform, 92.3 HD2 and nationwide via the Audacy app and website. The station’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts will remain intact. 

New York City Mayor Eric Adams today signed a bill to to designate Times Square a so-called gun-free zone.

Local New York media outlet, The Buffalo News, accused Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., of seizing on a shooting that happened just outside his front door to make political hay to boost his gubernatorial campaign.

Former New York Democratic Gov. David Paterson admitted that he has never felt less safe in New York City and discussed Democrats’ "blind spot" on crime in a recent radio interview.

The two teens shot outside Rep. Lee Zeldin’s home while the Republican candidate for governor of New York's twin daughters were home alone have been identified, according to a report.  The New York Post first identified the teen victims Monday as Joel Murphy and Elijah Robinson, both 17-year-olds from Mastic, on New York’s Long Island.The Suffolk County Police Department declined to confirm the identities of the victims to Fox News Digital when contacted by phone about the report.  Both teen victims suffered gunshot wounds to the chest in the shooting in Shirley, the Post said, citing police, noting that Murphy also reportedly suffered a lacerated liver while Robinson sustained an arm wound.  According to the report, a "high-ranking" law enforcement source said the teen victims were "known to the department" and had been at a recording studio on a reservation in Suffolk County that is known for gang activity.  New York GOP candidate for governor Rep.

After a dog was allegedly killed by a homeless man in a wealthy and progressive Brooklyn neighborhood, the town’s residents soon turned against each other in the name of "social justice," according to a New York Times report. A federal judge temporarily blocked parts of New York state's new gun law in order to allow the Gun Owners of America to pursue a lawsuit challenging the legislation.  Chief Judge Glenn Suddaby of Northern District of New York state in Syracuse ruled that the Gun Owners of America (GOA) have a legitimate case for lawsuit against the new state law complicating the process to obtain a gun license. The decision will not go into effect for three days to allow the New York government to appeal Suddaby's ruling to a higher court.

Major left-leaning networks, such as MSNBC and CNN, have been inundated with coverage of the Herschel Walker abortion payment story over the last two days, with media figures ripping into the Georgia Republican Senate nominee over his alleged hypocrisy.  A Monday report alleged Walker urged an unnamed former girlfriend to get an abortion, and reimbursed her $700 for the procedure.The woman claimed she had a bank receipt of the alleged payment, as well as a "get well" card from the Walker himself.   Since the report came to light, a number of television personalities, journalists, and commentators have criticized Walker over the report, as well as a number of other past controversies alleging various lies and instances of domestic abuse.

Michaela Zee editor Carl Samrock, former VP of publicity at Warner Bros. Pictures who started out as an entertainment photographer for the New York Times, died Saturday night of pancreatic cancer. He was 81. The news of his death was confirmed by his wife, Carol Andelman Samrock. Samrock served as Warner Bros. Pictures’ vice president of national publicity under chairmen Bob Daly and Terry Semel. He joined the company in 1982 as West Coast publicity director, in which he later oversaw a 16-member staff that handled the publicity on nearly 30 films in production or release annually.
