Bruno Fernandes has lamented the fact that Manchester United switched off for Chelsea’s 111th-minute winning goal in Thursday’s 4-3 defeat, having known about the home side’s quick corners.
After Cole Palmer had struck a stoppage-time equaliser from the spot, he lashed home the decisive goal via a big deflection following a short and quick corner. United conceded a whopping 28 shots during the game, having shipped more than 100 efforts on their goal in the previous four matches combined.
Fernandes is disgruntled by United’s defensive fragility and particularly rues the fact that the team knew about Chelsea's tendency to take quick corners but were unable to stop the winning goal.

He added: "In the last games we've conceded too many shots. It's about defending your box.”
