The duo, which sold Creativity Media to Fulwell 73 in 2019, talk us through the jump from post-production to financing to the launch of their new London-based co-production outfit Big Safari, international sales strand Architect and investment in VFX house Koala FX.

FX revealed its spring slate of new and returning series, including the second half of American Horror Story: Delicate, Welcome to Wrexham‘s third season, the new Elisabeth Moss-led spy thriller The Veil, the documentary feature The New York Times Presents: Broken Horses and the limited series Clipped (formerly The Sterling Affairs).

Alex Ritman Lucy van Beek, the award-winning factual TV and film specialist, has launched her own production outfit, Tailfeather Productions. The company, whose focus will be premium specialist factual documentaries and series for streaming platforms, broadcasters and theatrical release, launches with two major commissions, “Alexander: The Making of a God” for Netflix and “Born to Be Wild” for Apple TV+.

Yungblud has released ‘When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)’, his first single of 2024, featuring Lil Yachty.The track sees the English musician – born Dominic Harrison – confronting metaphysical questions, opening with the lyrics: “Does Heaven have a dealer? Do they sell the love for cheaper than in Hollywood? / As hell is gettin’ colder, I don’t plan on gettin’ older in this neighbourhood“, before culminating in him belting the song’s title over an immense soundscape: “When we die, tell me, can we still get high?”Later in the track, Lil Yachty joins in with mind-bending bars: “If you fall far too deep / Lose yourself in your new life / Head over heels for your new eyes“, the track’s trippy production complementing the rapper-producer’s current psych-rock phase, heralded by his 2023 album ‘Let’s Start Here’.In a press release, Yungblud spoke about intending to collaborate with Lil Yachty since 2019. “When we die (can we still get high?)’ was one of the first songs I wrote when I got to New Orleans to make new music,” he wrote.

Julianne Moore will star alongside Tilda Swinton in The Room Next Door, the first English language film from Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar.

Promising Young Woman meets Buffy The Vampire Slayer in a new six-part supernatural drama about modern-day witches in Manchester. But don’t expect broomsticks, pointy hats and wands, says Domino Day creator Lauren Sequeira – these are witches “like you’ve never seen before”. Lauren describes her first original TV series as “dark, sexy and deep”, adding, “It has a lot to say about the world.” The show is also steeped in feminism, something that was important to BAFTA nominated rising star Siena Kelly, who plays the lead role of Domino.

Loose Women's Linda Robson has taken a savage swipe at her ex-husband, Mark Dunford, as she said: "He wouldn't notice if I was on fire". After months of rumours surrounding the state of their marriage, Linda confirmed in November 2023, that she and Mark had indeed gone their separate ways after 33 years of marriage. During the first Loose Women episode of this week, on Monday, 22 January, Linda appeared to share some insight into her feelings about Mark, which could have led to their split.

English Teacher have announced their debut album ‘This Could Be Texas’ and shared new single ‘Albert Road’.The Leeds four-piece will release their first full-length record on April 12 via Island, and the new track follows previous singles ‘Mastermind Specialism’, ‘Nearly Daffodils’ and ‘The World’s Biggest Paving Slab’.Speaking of the album, vocalist Lily Fontaine said: “I want this album to feel like you’ve gone to space and it turns out it’s almost identical to Doncaster.

Mumford & Sons have opened up about their collaboration with Pharrell on new single ‘Good People’ – their first new music in five years.The British band returned with the single yesterday (January 16), which was produced by Pharrell and features his backing vocals.The artists also brought in the vocals of a six-piece vocal choir from the USA and Canada, hailing from Native American Tribes within the Northern Great Plains.In a new interview with The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music, Marcus Mumford recalled meeting Pharrell almost 10 years ago on the festival circuit, sharing that they “instantly got on”.“There was a mutual kind of respect and admiration straight away,” he added.”And we’ve always talked about making music together. We’ve always talked about just getting in the studio and seeing what happened.”The band were performing at Pharrell’s festival Something in the Water in Virginia Beach last year when they committed to getting in the studio.“And I said to him, man, we’ve got to do that thing we’ve always talked about doing and get in the studio together,” Mumford said.
