Andrew Marr has announced he is leaving the BBC.
The Scottish journalist, who presents the BBC’s flagship Sunday politics show, is to depart the corporation after a long run as political editor and one of the broadcaster’s top interviewers.
The 62 year old announced the news on Twitter.
He wrote: “Personal announcement. After 21 years, I have decided to move on from the BBC ."
