Britney Spears has reportedly returned to the studio after six years and joined forces with Sir Elton John to duet one of his most beloved classics, Tiny Dancer. The pop star teamed up with the English composer last week, meeting at a Beverly Hills recording studio to record the track. Tiny Dancer first appeared on Elton John’s 1971 Album Madman Across The Water. An anonymous source told Page Six that this project was “Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan.

Britney Spears' favor on Wednesday, saying that the singer will not have to sit for a deposition in the ongoing legal battle with her father.Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, argued that she feels traumatized by her experience under Jamie Spears' long-running conservatorship and that exposing her to invasive questioning via a deposition would further re-traumatize her. He asked the court, «What would a decent father do?» Jamie's lawyer, Alex Weingarten, called the plea «theatrics» and «attacks,» saying that Jamie cared for his daughter «beautifully.» He said Jamie deserved a chance to question Britney under oath about her public allegations against him. Judge Brenda Penny ultimately decided that any information Jamie needs to defend himself against allegations of conservatorship abuse could be obtained from other sources, including documents and other witnesses.

Britney Spears was recently handed another win in her conservatorship case as a judge ruled Wednesday that Spears will not have to sit for a deposition Spears' attorney, Mathew Rosengart, argued in court that she "feels traumatized by what she went through" and answering questions from her father Jamie Spears' attorney, Alex Weingarten, would "retraumatize" her, per Page Six. Weingarten reportedly plans to appeal the decision.  Jamie Spears will sit for a deposition by Aug.

Britney Spears is ready to reintroduce herself to the music world. Fresh off a wedding and free from her conservatorship, Spears has recorded a remix version of Elton John’s "Tiny Dancer," according to a new report.  Per Page Six, John and Spears met in a Beverly Hills studio to record last week. Universal Music will release the track next month.  Spears had taken a hiatus from her music, with the most recent release being back in 2016 with her album, "Glory." The legal tussle with her father and former business manager is far from over, but Britney Spears will not have to face her foes’ lawyers directly any time soon.
